As part of the federal stimulus legislation approved earlier this year, six health centers in northern Michigan will receive a combined $1.3 million, according to U.S. Rep. Bart Stupak.
The Menominee Democrat said that the following health centers in the 1st Congressional District would receive stimulus funds, according to the Sault Ste. Marie Evening News:
The funds, released March 27, will provide 29 federally qualified health center grantees in Michigan a total of $8.6 million.
