On Tuesday afternoon about 2:45 p.m. she was talking with Habeeb through an instant messaging client. She asked him if he was safe, to which he replied:

During an interview Tuesday with Palestinian journalist Sameh Habeeb, Michigan Messenger was able to ask Dr. Muhammad Karril about the conditions in Gaza. Dr. Karril is a graduate doctor working at Al-Shifa Hospital who was in Habeeb’s company at the time of the interview.

This segment reflects the excitement and reporting on the tank fire coming into Gaza. Habeeb indicates tanks are “rolling” in the interview, but later clarified that no tanks have entered Gaza.
