The Wyoming City Council voted unanimously Monday night to ban medical marijuana in the city. Wyoming is a suburb of Grand Rapids. The Grand Rapids Press reports the move was made by the council because the body believes the law approving medical marijuana poses a danger to the community.

LANSING — A Lansing police officer has filed suit against the city of Lansing alleging she was the victim of sexual harassment, gender discrimination, retaliation for her participation in a sexual harassment investigation and of being harassed for being a whistle blower.
