At least three Republican candidates for statewide offices have announced they won’t participate in straw polls anymore. The Detroit Free Press reports that Secretary of State candidate Anne Norlander, Attorney General candidate, and current state Senator, Mike Bishop and Gubernatorial candidate Attorney General Mike Cox are declining to participate in the polls.
