Messenger contributor to participate in Cooley Law School panel

Michigan Messenger’s Todd Heywood will participate in a panel discussion about minorities coverage in the media today at the Lansing campus of Cooley Law School.

The panel discussion will occur from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Grey’s Inn of the Temple Building at Cooley Law School in downtown Lansing.

Heywood, who is also the Capitol correspondent for Michigan’s Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay and Transgender newspaper Between the Lines, will join Rina Risper, the editor publisher of The New Citizen’s Press, an African-American newspaper, and Cooley Law School Professors William Wagner and Ronald Bretz. Also on the panel will be Brant Johnson of 96.5 FM WQHH radio in Lansing.
