Huckabee to barnstorm Michigan Friday

Mike Huckabee, former governor of Arkansas and a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, will make several public appearances in Michigan Friday.

First, he will address the Detroit Economic Club at 12:30 p.m. The event will be held at the Masonic Temple Theatre, 500 Temple St., in Detroit.

Following this, the former Baptist minister and entourage will drive up 75 to Birch Run Expo Center for another rally at 5:30 p.m. The event will be at 11600 North Beyer Road, exit 136 on I-75.

And following this, Huckabee and crew will arrive for an 8 p.m. event at the Wilson Center, 101 W. Cass, St. Johns. Here the former governor and his team will take in a little basketball from the St. Johns Warriors for Christ and the Lansing Chaps. The two teams are part of a homeschool basketball league.
