By Todd A. Heywood | 08.22.11 | 3:58 pm

Isabella County Circuit Court Judge Paul Chamberlain has issued an injunction to stop the Central Michigan University Faculty Association strike.

WKAR radio reported the news on its Facebook page:

From the Michigan Public Radio Network’s Amy Robinson in Mt. Pleasant: Isabella County Circuit judge Paul Chamberlain this afternoon signed a Central Michigan University injunction ordering the school’s unionized faculty members back to work. The court also has scheduled a hearing for Friday at 9:00am to hear arguments in the case.

Faculty members went on strike at 7 a.m. Monday to protest what they say is unfair bargaining behavior by the administration. President George Ross Monday morning chastised the instructors for not being in their classroom.

I think EVERYONE should just quit and take two weeks off.  Shut the country down and then we will see some positive change.  They can’t fire EVERYONE!  Nor can they afford to lose the highly educated and skilled.  I dream of this day.  I see it as the only hope for America.  Of course those working in hospitals and emergency areas won’t be able to.  We could survive two weeks.  People would just have to share what they have.  Power to the people some day I hope.  Imagine new laws that did what their suppose too.  Protect the people for the people by the people.  Not the corporations who have run wild with their big money and corruption.  And the corrupted courts that have been bought.

Once, in whats referred to as a ‘Work to Rule’ strike, hospital workers in France, refused to file billing paperwork for health care they provided.

      The result?

Patients got BETTER care because more time was available by staff to treat them.

      The hospital began hemorrhaging money.

The hospital admin had no choice but to give in.

      ……That’s something they could do.
