Huizenga claims President snubbed him

By Todd A. Heywood | 08.13.11 | 1:44 am

Congressman Bill Huizenga (R-Holland) says that President Barack Obama didn’t invite him to a tour and speech at the Johnson Controls facility in Holland, and he is crying foul.

Huizenga complained about the snub to the subscription only Michigan Information Research Services (MIRS) on Friday, reports MLive.com contributor Susan Demas.

“This is over the top. How does he think he can get away with this?” Huizenga told MIRS.

A White House official tells Michigan Messenger on background that Huizenga’s office made clear it would reject an invitation from the President to visit the Holland facility.

Nothing like crying “Foul!” for your own actions. Does Huizenga believe that voters are that dumb?
