Thank You Thank You for standing up to bullys and terrorists like this. They want only for us to sit down and shut up. By publicizing their actions, you give hope and a voice to thousands who feel that they have none. Hopefully through actions such as yours it will one day be safe for LGBTQ people everywhere to walk down a street safe from hateful speech and violence anywhere in this country. People like that make me almost ashamed to call myself an American. One day, (maybe one day soon), people who preach fear and ignorance will be in the minority.

Keep up the good work and fighting the fight for equality!!

Hate Group Won't Chill Free Speech I spent my formative years under the tutelage of the Seventh Day Adventists, my parents were High Anglican, although not to zealous. I was a sponge. I absorbed it all, and then at about age eight,(as I was a very advanced reader) I was allowed into the reference library; with very little supervision. I discovered that there were many beliefs, Catholics,Hindus, Buddhists,Zen, Krishna,a plethora of Protestant points of view, Wicca,and then there was the Dark Side, Satanism and a plethora of other forms of worship of a darker nature. As a result I grew into an understanding human being, I did not find it necessary, even in my imagination, to condemn anyone to hell fire for their beliefs.It was here in a library that I discovered books on sexuality.I read about Human Sexuality; once again there were different opinions,heterosexuality, homosexuality, transexuality, and other forms of sexual expression.I learned the process of procreation from books on the subject, not some misguided, misinformed frame of reference. While a police officer and married I accepted that I had sexual feelings for men.It took a while,much soul searching, a psychiatric visit or two; that I find myself in a healthy twenty year relationship with the same man.

Threatening you through a stand-in If somebody told you that they were going to throw you in a vat of molten steel, that would clearly be a death threat, and the individual would be arrested.

However, somehow threatening you through an invisible sky-bully makes it perfectly fine and legal.

These idiots are also cowards. The particular belief systems of Jews, Christians, and Muslims have been thoroughly falsified by a litany of refuted truth-claims.

All that remains is the possibility of a more general and universal theistic/deistic conception of God (and even that is a logical stretch, thank you Mr. Dawkins), but that does not come with pat sociopolitical opinions wrapped in ancient verse, and would leave homophobes without excuse.

They can't just admit that they hat you,not God, and that they're threatening you, not God, and that it is their problem, not yours.

Bravo I have to applaud you for standing up to a bunch of ignorant thugs. Thank you for having the guts to shine a light under that rock they live under. It's a pity that groups like the "Army of God" and other hate-groups like them never seem to have actually read the Constitution they claim to hold so dear.

Amazing... ...I had no idea that they are still functioning group. I live in Europe, and for a while I have had this feeling that religious extremity in USA might be downplayed in European media. I could be that I am right (hopefully not).

If I were a religious person, I would pray for you, but as I am not, you have all my good wishes. They wont have any effect, but anyways :). Speaking up for peoples rights is an important job, and I hope AoG can't make you stop. The fact that they think they can just makes me sick.
