Anuzis won’t challenge Stabenow

Yet another prominent Republican has taken himself out of the 2012 race against Democratic Sen. Debbie Stabenow. Saul Anuzis, former head of the Michigan Republican Party, announced Sunday that he would not challenge Stabenow despite showing interest in a possibly candidacy.

Anuzis joins former Michigan Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land, Rep. Thad McCotter and former U.S. Rep. Pete Hoekstra, both of whom had also publicly expressed interest in taking on Stabenow, who is viewed by many Republicans as vulnerable in 2012.

    What’s the matter with Republicans, afraid of a Democrat.  I won’t vote for her and if I could run, I certainly would challene her.  I won’t vote for her and I know lots more that won’t.

    Why is the Republican party failing?  For reasons like this.  Stabenow can be beat or at least should be challenged.  Republicans–Get off your knees and stand up and fight!  You are leaving the door open for a 3rd party and that will be the death of GOP and Freedom in America.  Someone out there get a pair and fight!
