Republican Senate candidate Jack Hoogendyk last week promoted the claim that Sen. Carl Levin, D-Detroit, was the “Porker of the Month,” and now Hoogendyk has launched a video on his Web site highlighting some of the projects Levin has supported.
Of course there’s a difference between voting for a spending bill that contains pork (they all do) and authoring and inserting pork into the bills yourself, and Hoogendyk’s video makes no distinction in the charges it makes.
Oddly, Hoogendyk even brings up the famous “Bridge to Nowhere” in Alaska. You know the one Gov. Sarah Palin supported and lobbied for until it was clear the money would not be coming, then she opposed it? Here’s the video, targeting Levin:
