Jones to visit Dearborn Arab Festival

Quran-burning Florida minister Terry Jones, who was prevented from protesting outside the largest mosque in America in Dearborn recently, announced Tuesday that he will be attending the Dearborn International Arab Festival in June.

That festival has been a focal point of controversy the last two years as the Deaborn police have tried to prevent Christian missionaries from speaking to festival goers and handing out religious tracts. In 2010, they arrested four missionaries and charged them with disorderly conduct; all four were acquitted of those charges and are now suing the city for infringing on their First Amendment rights.

      How can you predict that Mr. Jones intends to commit illegal violence in the future?  Or are you conflating speech you don’t like with an imagined and defective understanding of exactly what hate crimes are?
