Federal court continues hold on Arizona immigration law

By Ed Brayton | 04.12.11 | 5:26 pm

The Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals has upheld a preliminary injunction against the most controversial parts of the Arizona anti-immigration law that some Michigan legislators want to copy in this state.

This is not a ruling in that case, only on the preliminary injunction, but the language used in the ruling suggested that the judges have strong doubts about the constitutionality of the law. That issue will now be decided by the district court in Arizona. You can read the full ruling here.
