As the crisis in Egypt continues into its seventh day, Michigan’s universities are recalling students placed in the country for study abroad programs.

There is also an MSU doctoral student on a Fulbright program study. The doctoral student and one undergraduate student have opted to stay in Egypt during the crisis.

The University of Michigan says it had three students in the country. Two were evacuated by chartered plane to Athens, Greece on Sunday, reports the Michigan Daily. One student has opted to stay in country with her grandparents in Cairo.
