When we say things like “Republicans are evil” we're just going by the evidence. Conservatism has only one “value”: Rich white guys don't want to pay taxes. That's all it is.
That's the easiest sell in the world when you can hide behind the flag, Jesus, mom, apple pie and all anything else they can come up with. Even then, they have to CHEAT to win.

Thank you for standing up for us little guys. Illegitemati non carborundum! Would anyone being foreclosed on vote for McCain? Perhaps maintaining their voters registration is the last thing on their minds. Would be if it was me. (There is actually a registered Republican ex-elected official in my town who was recently foreclosed against. Don't know if he's shifted his political support or not…) Maybe McCain could share/spare a house or two of the reportedly seven or eight that he owns.
