Riddle jumps on plea withdrawal bandwagon

Sam Riddle, Mary Waters and Monica Conyers, always close political allies if not sometimes lovers, appear to actually be sharing a brain these days. Riddle joined his compatriots in seeking to withdraw the guilty plea he made in a bribery and corruption trial in which he was co-defendant with Waters.

Their buyer’s remorse is highly unlikely to succeed. Once you plead guilty it is very unusual to have that plea withdrawn without a showing of coercion. Changing one’s mind is not going to convince the court to go along with you.
