Thank goodness we’re past the doll stage in my household, although my kid was never much for dolls anyhow. I don’t have to deal with a temper tantrum as to why Mom will not buy the latest goofy-but-popular doll on the market, particularly this nutty Matrix-meets-Naughty-Librarian-as-Veep doll.

What would possess someone to buy this monstrosity of plastic, anyhow? A compulsion to freshen one’s action figure freak show collection?

Or perhaps one might buy one to commemorate the point at which a celebrity vice presidential candidate had become cultural detritus?

Yes, you can see Sarah in her school girl uniform and a plain black pantsuit at HeroBuilders.com.

But oh, Minni, I am worried for you; wouldn't you rather have a nice Caribou Barbie instead?

      Heh.
