Ngalamulume coming back to 8th District congressional race?

By Todd A. Heywood | 08.04.10 | 10:51 am

One-time Democratic candidate Kande Ngalamulume might be getting back into the race against Brighton Republican Mike Rogers.

Ngalamulume dropped out of the race earlier this year, after it was too late for him to remove his name from the ballot, or let anyone else put their name on the ballot. Lance Enderle, an East Lansing resident ran a write-in campaign for the Democratic nomination, but Ngalamulume still got the most votes.

Now Ngalamulume tells the Associated Press he might be coming back to Michigan to face Rogers. Ngalamulume is originally from East Lansing, but had been working and living in Pennsylvania. He tells the AP he is 80 percent certain he will re-enter the race, reports WKAR radio in Lansing.
