As McCain continues to try to paint Obama as an “elitist” and criticise him for wanting to raise taxes on those who make over $250,000 a year, perhaps it’s worth pointing out that when Cindy McCain spoke to the Republican National Convention the other day the outfit she was wearing cost more than a very nice house would in most parts of the country.

      300,000. for a dress. I understand the need to be elegant and well dressed when in such a brights spotlight. But I'm sure, in fact I know as a fan of shopping that I could find a dress just as stylish and elegant for like $300 or less. Not 300,000. May I suggest Betsy Johnson or Nicole Miller? Just as good.

    Well, Oscar de La Renta makes a lot of if not most of most of his dough making dresses for red carpet events [aka celebrities].
