McCotter to speak at annual C-PAC conference in D.C.

By Todd A. Heywood | 02.16.10 | 2:44 pm

The Washington Times is reporting that Michigan U.S. Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (R-Livonia) will be speaking Thursday afternoon at the 37th annual Conservative Political Action Conference.

According to the report:

Headliners at Thursday afternoon sessions are Liz Cheney, founder and board member of Keep America Safe lobby; former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney; Michigan Rep. Thaddeus McCotter; House Republican Leader John A. Boehner; and National Rifle Association Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre.

One wonders what gems of wisdom the Livonia Republican will share with the audience. Will it be how Republicans like children with a side of fries? Or how Americans should be able to deduct pet care expenses from their taxes but not have health care reform? Or how openly gay folks who oppose the Pope’s ridiculous anti-condom message in Africa should be removed from their appointments in the administration of President Barack Obama?
