Riddle gets new bond conditions

By Ed Brayton | 12.23.09 | 3:17 pm

As a result of his arrest for felony assault and felony weapons violations, Detroit political consultant Sam Riddle had the conditions of his bond in federal court, where he faces felony bribery and corruption charges, changed today. The judge in the federal bribery trial set some stringent new restrictions on Riddle, the Detroit Free Press reports:

Embattled political consultant Sam Riddle will be allowed to post bond, but for now he is being ordered to stay at his mother’s house in Flint…

He was ordered to not have contact with the victim, Waters, with whom he shared a townhouse on Navarre Place in Detroit.

Riddle will have a 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. curfew, and he will have to undergo daily alcohol testing.

The real question: Will he be Tweeting about it from his mother’s house?
