I have insurance but I am a working middle class man, and it was hard to pay up, in fact the doctor bills are piling up. So, even if you have insurance, the premiums keep rising, practically unaffordable for the whole family, and then you get hit with high deductibles and co-payments. What's the point of it all anyway? I was uninsured for a while, but now I am just broke trying to keep up payments. I just went to the ER and found out I had to pay $100 (a co-payment).
