i am just so sad. that our goverment can not understand and doesn,t really even care what happens to all of us . otherwise they would have granted the extension and had it on its way to us by now and had it even retro so some of us could get a bit out of debt we will see this week what comes of the extension stimulus…..i pray for us all and i sincerly hope we all will make it thru this, we are the true americans and we can do this we will make it with out the american dream at hand we will show them all..we have the heart. in god we trust!!!!

My husband is 58..he can't find a job either..there giving them to younger people who can lift more and stay longer..mmmm. I can't find a job because I have a couple of restrictions but the state says I'm not disabled..we are so screwed.

well if the extension happens and i am fortunate to receive it i am leaving this place called michigan and finding some sort of job in another state a warmer one at that because we can not live on unemployment forever and michigan has been murderd, it died when the car industry left
i have seen it before in pennsylvania when the steel mills closed dead towns all over. very sad happening in america what happen to the american dream? for the hard working born american it is gone taken away by non born americans because our doors are always open to the people of other lands that want the dream our goverment gave our dream away so now here we are poor, broke, homeless, without jobs, THINK ABOUT IT!

Hey Johnson! Do you have a job? Doing what? If you do how do you have the time to come on here and bust our balls about finding work. Golden arches DO NOT hire people with any kind of college degree, period!! These jobs you're talking about DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT hire people with a college degree and a brain. They say you're over qualified and when the economy turns around you will leave to a better paying job. They don't want to waste there time and money on you. These are facts, look it up!! Why are you even here talking to us? You obviously have no life. Hopefully you won't ever loose your job because being out here in this situation is something I never thought would happen to me.

i have tried ti find a job for 2 yrs now any job doing anything i am 60 yrs old and no one will hire me not even talk to me about it so what now ? my unemployment is done ,bills are not getting paid, shutoff notices and looking to get put on the streets yea more homlessjust what this country needs more homless

I think one of the provisions of the new extension is that you may also receive food stamps while receiving the UI assistance
