Let's see -- the main argument of MI Republicans for Dick Posthumous was that Jennifer Granholm wasn't really from MI -- she'd just lived moved here after college & spent her whole adult life here -- by choice -- apparently Republicans know that what the state doesn't need is an influx of well educated immigrants who care enough about the place to make their lives here. Then it's somehow been Granholm's fault that the past 8 years have been bad for large international companies like GM... Now the Republicans are going to run on the horrors of importing one kind of criminal vs. another to MI. The people of Standish are more afraid of losing their jobs than of terrorists, but Hoekstra's trembling in Grand Rapids at the thought of -- what? Making Republican donors unhappy because Obama might not fail?

Tough talking patriots -- yup, that's the Republicans.
