Forged Kenyan document splinters ‘Birther’ movement

WASHINGTON — Jon Chessoni, a first secretary at the Kenyan Embassy, can’t understand why his office gets so many baseless questions about whether Barack Obama was born in Kenya.

“It’s madness,” said Chessoni on Monday. “His father, in 1961, would not even have been in Kenya. When this matter first came up, the Kenyan government did its research and confirmed that these are all baseless claims.”

Nonetheless, Chessoni spent part of his day fielding inquiries about an image posted at the fringe conservative web site WorldNetDaily–a purported “certified copy of registration of birth” belonging to “Barack Hussein Obama II,” submitted by attorney Orly Taitz in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, part of her undying quest to get a judge to listen to the conspiracy theories about the 44th president of the United States.

    Can't understand? Maybe because obama's grandmother claimed to hav been at the delivery in kenya! Tthere's been much testamony regarding his birth there, and he has hidden all of his records. He's hiding stuff. He's a fraud. More and more people are recognizing it.

    OBAMA, STOP HIDING. SHOW US THE LONG FORM BIRTH CERTIFICATE!!!!!

      Yes, there are stories of his being born in other countries. One story probably have come from his foreign grandmother. There has been no hiding or fraud. American documents accepted as evidence in a federal court of law have shown these stories to be fiction. More and more people are demonstrating magical thinking, an irrational belief that one can bring about a circumstance or event by thinking about it or wishing for it; normal in preschool children. Recently, this disingenuous group has released poorly forged documents to support their claims.

      Can't understand? Thinking skills bordering on the schizophrenic, circulating false stories, forgery – what makes you think we don't understand?

        No court has looked at the evidence. Everybody is hiding under the desk.

        All he has to do is make the following official public statement,

        “I Barack Obama authorize the State of Hawaii to release and make public all of my records on file.”

        That's it. Issue over. But he won't because he's a fraud!!

        But he, Barak Obama has released the document that proves his status as a natural born citizen. This is not a situation that can be solved by the judicial system .This is why the issue has been dismissed from the courts – not because of some conspiracy, but there is no dispute. The Birther-forged 'Kenyan birth certificate' was not brought to a court trial either. Does this mean both sides are being controlled by a greater conspiracy?
        Using the magical thinking of this group, one would find:
        1) President Obama's birth certificate is suspect.
        2) The certificate was not part of a court proceeding.
        3) The Kenyan 'certificate' was a forgery.
        4) The Kenyan forgery was not a part of a court proceeding.
        Therefore: the released birth certificate is a forgery!
        Just because a person or group deeply believes in something does not make it true.
        Sometimes it makes them nutjobs.
