I'm appalled that Gov. Granholm is going to move collections which are over 180 years old and close the State Library. The employees of the Library and Archives take great care in making sure these collections are preserved and cared for properly so they will be preserved for years to come. This library is used by people from all over the U.S., especially for genealogy research as it holds the 10th largest collection of genealogical resources in the U.S. We must save the Library. This is absurd! Granholm should cut her own wages instead of making a 10% in Michigan govement wages effective after she leaves office. She has show what is important to her. Sorry I voted for her.
