whoops. their bad. “out of step…not listening…”, yeah but will they admit it? doubtful.

Very naive That they put up such an easily gamed poll says a lot about their lack of internet savvy.

It also says a lot about their lack of awareness of the wider community’s opinion about offshore and domestic drilling.

If they don’t grok this, can we trust their candidates with really complex issues?

mrp’s/wicked lies LoRayne, I wouldn’t trust those assbags with anything. bush and accomplices are raping this Country,(not to mention Iraq/Afghanistan/rest of the World), for everything they can take, or steal. ignoring subpoenas, juking stats, owning the voting machines,, etc.are just the tip of the vile iceberg. what I can’t understand is why the American people stand for this. If it weren’t for cyber spots like this one, Common Dreams, the Wonderful Amy Goodman, and Naiomi Kline, there would be no Truth. Hope You are Well, and having Good Summer——k

Duh Offshore drilling is such a terrible idea, I think most people can see this. Even the dumb ones. First, it does nothing to address that real problem: fossil fuel additiction. Second, even if we start oil exlporation off the Florida Coast tomorrow and start the drilling asap, we won’t see actual oil from those wells until 2029. That’s not going help the prices at the pump right now.
Third, we are not even sure how much oil is out there and the money spent on exlporation would be better spent in infrastructure and develeopment of renewable energy sources.
