Michigan Department of Corrections says it’s illegal

The Michigan Republican Task Force on Border Security and Immigration Reform — made up of Republican House members Phil Pavlov, Dave Agema, Chuck Moss, and Dave Robertson — released its final report last week, and it contains some harsh recommendations like denying bail to all illegal immigrants and replacing immigrant farm labor with prison labor.

prisons/illegals will they be earning their $1.30hr. at the Geo Group prison? will there be striped pyjamas and wrist tattoos for everybody? Jesus, this is some scary stuff going on here, in Michigan...who'll be rounded up next? left leaning earth loving bike pumpers? anyone who doesn't buy into foxtvbs? anyone who's brown/black/red/poor? which 3rd world country will we go to war with first for illegal treatment of non-residents? which republican fascist came up with this idea? has the de vos empire bought geo/wackenhut?

Partisan nature disturbs me Why is this Task Force only house Republicans -- particularly when they are a minority in the state house?

With the gross amount of profiteering that's happened with DHS and DOD contracts under a Republican administration, I am concerned there is inadequate oversight and balance when there is a gross weighting towards one party on this so-called task force.
