Kolan McConiughey, a six-time Special Olympics medal winner and five-time roller of a perfect game, said he took exception with Obama’s description of his own bowling skills during an interview Thursday with Jay Leno. The president said that despite recent bowling practice at the White House, his recent score of 129 was “like Special Olympics or something,” a gaffe that drew the ire of supporters of the Special Olympics.
“Bring it on Obama! I challenge him! I’ll show him how to do it,” McConiughey, 35, is quoted as saying in The Ann Arbor News.
