Wood is a re-newable resource and as such if managed properly all supply clean water, wildlife habitat and wood fiber into the future. Not all places are suited for wood production and not all place are suited for preservation. Private non-industrial landowners own more land than any other group and a a diverse group with diverse goals and objectives they should be given the opportunity to manage THEIR land as they see fit, so long as it does not do damage to my land or my living space.<br>L-P has a very biased view of things. They do not want any competition for resources because as we know the more the demand the higher the price--in this case the moneis paid private landowners for the resources they have managed all these years. Just let demand for OSB go down any more and see how worried about saving jobs Mr. Chamberlain is.
