I wonder why that is?<p>  At Monday's event it was a lot easier for media to interact with the audience. I don't think they even cared if you went up into the stands. Obviously, some control has to be exerted in order to present the vision the campaign is seeking to project, but when basic values of human decency are being violated we need to start asking more questions. For instance, why is we as media are not allowed to wander the crowds? Here is a perfect example. This story would have been all over the news last night before Gore ever set foot on stage, and the furor would have overwhelmed the Gore endorsement.
